  • Raising walls of the western bousillage section of the house to their original configuration as it was 220 years ago by restoration of the rotted timbers in proximity to the ground. This work will finally correct the degenerative condition that has been ongoing.
  • Removing elements of previous restorations that were either not historically accurate or that utilized methods or material what were not conducive to the conservation of original materials of construction.
  • Repair of damaged tabby, bousillage and replacement of protective finishes (plaster, stucco and limewash)
  • Addressing through structural conservation methods, extensive structural timber damage incurred through a formosan termite infestation that followed Hurricane Katrina.
  • Restoring of the galleries to their 19th Century appearance,
