  • Removing elements of previous restorations that were either not historically accurate or that utilized methods or material what were not conducive to the conservation of original materials of construction.
  • Repair of damaged tabby and bousillage, replacement of protective finishes (plaster, stucco and limewash), installation of doors and windows, re-installation of raised wood flooring, and restoration of roof and chimneys.
  • Addressing through structural conservation methods, extensive structural timber damage incurred through a formosan termite infestation that followed Hurricane Katrina.
  • Restoring of the galleries to their 19th Century appearance,
